Meet The Team
Angela Lucas
DirectorI have worked in Travel for over 20 years and all those years have been spent at Holiday Getaway. After working as a travel consultant initially I was given the opportunity to purchase the business from the existing owners, putting my own stamp on it and I've never looked back. It's the best job in the world, finding someone a holiday and helping them to make amazing memories!! The perks are pretty good too and I've been able to see a lot of the world for "educational purposes" to better help me in my role.
I also get to spend my working days with my HG Family and I couldn't have asked for a better bunch, every day is fun and entertaining, there's never a dull moment.
Nicola Godding
Head of AdministrationI have always wanted to work in travel since I was little. I did my work experience in a travel agency for a week and they offered me an apprenticeship and I started in June as I finished school. I learned quite quickly I was more suited to the administration side of things and have done that ever since. I have now worked in travel for 23 years, 14 of which I have spent here at Holiday Getaway. I enjoy travelling with my family and friends and have got lots of exciting places on my bucket list to tick off so the next few years you will find me off exploring the world
Chelsey Eatock
Sales ConsultantI have worked in travel for 10 years. I thoroughly enjoy speaking to and meeting new people daily and finding their perfect holiday. I have always loved to travel and this comes from going on so many while I was younger with my family. Holidays have always been the time to spend with each other and just enjoy time for the here & now rather than the busyness of home life. My favourtie holiday has got to be Florida and a place I really want to visit is New York :-)
Emma Lucas
Sales ConsultantI have worked in travel for 8 years and after having a career change I decided to pursue my passion for travel and have never looked back.
There is nothing like the excitement of having a holiday to look forward to and I love to see this on my clients faces when I get their holiday booked. There is so much more of the world I want to see with my family and I look forward to seeing what is next on the list.

Shane Waterhouse
Sales ConsultantI have now worked in travel for over 24 years and I still love it as much as I did when I first started. At first I was in the admin department but after 6 months realised I needed to be in the front office in the thick of it. My favourite thing is travelling with my family and making memories. Travel is the best job and long may it continue.

TraineeGoing on holiday from being a young child has given me the passion for travel. When I left school I chose to study travel and tourism at college and this gave me an opportunity to pursue a career in travel and understand the industry in greater depth.
